well i finally scored a bare replacement transmission to replace the tractor like one i have now. the one i picked up is needing the overdrive solenoid from my current tranny, any other tips or things i should look for before trying the installation ? the guy i bought mine from mentioned that i should find an oem foam cone for the shifter boot ? i haven't swapped a tranny on anything other than aircooled volkswagons before.
