fitting 164 front clip onto 245 ? 200

just wondering if anyone has some pictures/advice/links on fitting the 164 front clip fenders/grill/hood onto a 245. i'm not about to go cutting my car in half to splice it w/ a 164 front end like http://switch.to/estate ,but i don't mind trimming some sheet metal to make things fit.
supposedly my local volvo mechanic fit a 164 onto a 242 some years ago, but he's as easy to get detailed stories from as 240 blower motors are to replace.
