Windows and Turbos 200 1982

Well, thats a vague title. Ok, my project 242 turbo is a GO(!!!) but I've got a few things to do first. The car was in a minor collision where the previous owner rear-ended someone else. Only damage was to the bumper (good old volvo's!) but she says that when that happened, her windows went down and wouldn't come back up (electric). Now, I'm guessing, it's a bad fuse or something in the wiring harness grounded killing the fuse, but knowning volvo, this could be some funky saftey thing.

Doubt it though

Ok, well my next question is I'm planning on building the car up to be a road-racer fun car to drive. I need an intercooler w/out a doubt right now, thats the first engine mod I need, but I have other questions. I don't want to dump loads of cash into the car (and have it become another firebird) but I do want something in the lines of 250 hp. Turbo's are new to me, I've built alot of race motors but they've all be N/A. How complicated are some of these mods, mostly wastegate and mangenment systems.

Mvp's 3 in exsaust, or would IPD's 2.5 be fine?

Anything along those lines.

Next, I'm gutting the interior (it's pretty rough anyways). I want to put in a set of recaro style race buckets, is this hard? Am I going to be fabricating?

Well, thats it for the moment, wish me luck

Doug

PS, this is a CA car, smog is IMPORTANT!
