My 83 wont't fire, the engine turns over with a new battery. There was some bare wire around the altanator which I replaced. I got it to start for a while but then it cut back out. Tried to start it again after checking all my connections were o.k.. Turned the key and engine trying to start it when I heard a fizzing,shorting sound down by the ecu/relays. I jumped the relay and the fuse and both had noise activation. There is spark and gas. This car has been running killer up until now, it has 217k but runs like 17k when running. Spark plugs and wires are all new and properly gaped. What was the noise by the relay/ecu. Any ideas or info I would be mucho gratefull.
