front (?) rumble 200 1985

A friend's 240. Annual inspection time. Rumble when driving, increases in right turn, disappears in left turn (hope I didn't reverse those turns). Sounds like a wheel bearing, right?

No. Replaced wheel bearing, no change. Caliper isn't stuck, engine mounts seem OK so engine isn't resting on the crossmember. Spinning the other wheels doesn't reveal anything amiss either, they spin smoothly and quietly. I've felt the driveshaft, there don't seem to be worn U-joints. At this point, we're stumped.

Any tips where else to look?

Bram
