Erratic Starts 200 1989

Good Day Folks!

I've been having an ongoing problem (since last summer) with starting my 89 240. But it seems to be only a summer time problem. The problem disappeared through the cold winter and now that summer like weather has finally re-appeared here in Winnipeg so has my problem.

Car starts perfect anytime it has been sitting for extended periods. The problem is when I shut down and try to start again minutes later. It's erratic in that it happens only 40% of the time. It seems to want to go but doesn't.... I sit for 3-5 minutes and then it starts no problem. Any ideas, suggestions? Whatever it is it must have something to do with the heat outside because I had no problems all winter long.
