960 Torque Converter Lock-up Problems 900

Ok, I figured it out. For those of you out there with the sticking torque converter lock-up problems (and I know there were quite a few a year ago) I found the cure: it's the lock-up solenoid in the transmission valve body. It's actually a very simple part to replace (although a messy one b/c you have to take the pan off). I did it last night in about 2.5 hours. It shifts like a dream now!
