The check engine light came on in my 90 744ti today. After it came on I noticed the engine was missing badly under load (boost). It was dark after I returned so I was not able to do much in the way of diagnostics. I have been noticing a slight miss almost a bog under load before the light came on but not to the extent that it is now. Before I left I replaced a section a cracked vacuum line going to the vapor canister.
The 232 fault code indicates
Fault condition.
Fuel trim (lambda control) too lean or too rich at idle.
Cause of condition.
If too rich: high fuel press., leaking injector.
