Okay, heere's the rub. While on vacation my 87 760Ti wagon sat in the driveway all week. (we took the Toyota, I know its silly but I just bought the wagon and it was a 13 hour drive and, well, maybe next year.) Anyway the wagon sits there. She was running like a dream when I left her, but tonight when I got home and started the car, fired right up, no problem. (It actually started faster than my 88 740 GLE with 50,000K less on the clock. It had to crank 15-29 secs.) But when I put the car into drive and gave it gas, it sputtered and died. Again it started right up, but when I gave it gas it died once again. I fired it up a third time, no problem. I floored the throttle and it would run but sputter and bloop and backfire just a bit. Tach never climbed above 100 rpm or so. Any ideas? Is she broken or just mad at me for not taking her to sunny Naples?
Thanks folks,
