HOT FUSES!!!!! 200 1981

On my '81 245 GLT, the fuses for both the fuel pump and the brake lights seem to be hot. Burn your fingers temperature hot. According to Pepboys fitment guide, I have the correct bulbs in the brake lights. Oh yeah, the fuses are the correct amperage as well. Any ideas?
