Who designed these Headlights, anyway? 700 1990

I've become frustrated with the headlights on my (relatively) new 760 - love the car, but the headlights don't even attract moths. And to make matters worse, I just bought a 940 which has the same lighting - headlights next to fogs. Did I forget to mention that the fog lights are also ineffective?

Does anyone have a source for upgrades for the headlights short of round-trip airfare to Europe? IPD doesn't have anything in their latest catalog and the only thing I can think of is bumper mounted aux lights. Thanks.
