adding a Turbo to a 740 wagon 700

I'm thinking of buying a '91 740 wagon with 125,000 miles. It's clean and runs well, but I want a more power. Please excuse my ignorance on this, but is adding a turbo relatively simple? Not too expensive? Is there a major difference between the 740s and the 740 Turbos?

Should I just wait for a 740 Turbo rather than doing a retrofit?
