Need some help to get over this last hurdle
The project was to swap a 740 230 engine for the B28, changed harnesses in engine bay and under dash. Note that underdash harness was not from donor car but another 740 (86). New distributor, Ign module.
Ignition has good spark but there is no gas on cranking. With the key in on position so fuel pump runs I can energize the injectors individually, reconnect injector plugs and start the engine. Runs until that shot of fuel is gone.
The problem is no fuel from the injectors with the engine cranking.
I have 12 volts on the harness to the injectors, Good connection to to the eccm pin 13. Can't find the relay for the radio suppression so I have that socket jumpered, and still no start.
From other areas on the board it appears that a pulsed ground signal needs to be present. How can I test for that?
Any ideas would be welcome
Thanks
Richard
