can you retrofit 200 4-piston calipers to fit late 80's 740's?? 700

I'm a newbie to this forum and am currently trying to upgrade my 740. I've read that the 240 4-piston calipers are much better than the single piston calipers I currently have.

am I crazy? has this been done before? Can it be done?
