Hi all,

Last weekend I noticed that the car seemed to wait a sec before starting after I turned the key. This seems to be getting worse (a longer delay) today.

As background info, I had replaced the AMM (with an aftermarket) in there 30 days ago in an effort to correct some erratic idling and hesitiation and thought that this would correct the problem but i still sometimes have problems after starting the car with erratic idling and stalling (specially when moving the transmission from park to drive or reverse).

Car also "CLICKS" once (sound from engine bay) and hesitates sometimes when accelerating from a stop or slow roll. This is very dangerous as I am trying to get into traffic and car won't go for 1-2 sec.


I live in Miami and it is quite hot here lately and so I don't know if this has something to do with it.

I guess my question is if there is something in particular that could cause this problem? Could I have another bad AMM?
