84 245T factory intercooler...

Starting to idle rough/miss when firing up cold, smooths out when warm and runs well. Have not yet tried to isolate a weak cylinder, but the miss does not seem random. No miss at operating temperature.

Has a wiring harness rot problem; not the one you normally think of but the one which connects (8-pin gray connector) at the firewall on the passenger side and feeds things like the CIS and throttle position switch.

Recently changed out all injector seals to eliminate possibility of leakage; injector nozzles looked surprisingly clean; I did not check spray patterns.

Where should I point first? Clean up the electrical harness, test the f.i. nozzle spray or look for a mechanical (i.e. cylinder compression) problem?

Thanks in advance for troubleshoot opinons; suspect some have been in same place.
