How long do these plastic radiators last??? 700 1991

Hi,

I have a 1991 740 wagon with 135K miles and it has the original radiator and appears to have no cracks or damage. It was running hot last week with the air on, but I washed out the fins and it seems to have solved this problem. I was thinking of taking a long trip in it from Indianapolis to Texas and am concerned that maybe I should get a new radiator. Any information would be greatly appreciated
