Top passenger side radiator wires,what are they??? 700 1990

Top right side(passenger) of radiator above transmission cooler top line(return).Are they wires from the so called thermo switch controlling the electric fan?
All these talk regarding preventative replacement of rad makes me nervous now!!!!
Tong of Toronto ,12 yrs old original radiator+top hose+newish lower hose
