engine swap? 700

I have a 1988 volvo 740 GLE 5 speed non-turbo. The place where I work recently acquired a 1989 volvo 740 turbo, that is automatic. My work will need the car for testing for about month or so, then after that they do not need it. NOW MY QUESTION: I want a turbo car, and I don't if it would be easier to swap the engine from the 89 to the 88, or to swap the transmission from the 88 to the 89. I am guessing the trans swap will be harder. Please help!
