Sad night ,Bricksters:
Young vandals have broken my wife's 89 740's front driver's side window at 2:30 am last night trying to steal my just installed Kenwood CD player. They got the faceplate only as our Chihuahua barked and scared them off.
Today, I've just returned from the local junkyard with a replacement glass ($85..ouch!!). I plan to do the installment tomorrow morning..
anybody have any tips, etc on replacing the glass on a 740?? I've done a lot of 240's..are they the same difficulty???
Thanks for any suggestions.
