Hard to start. Removing injectors from holders. 200

'79 244 was a little hard to start and idled poorly. Replaced plugs, checked injectors which were ok and replaced injector seals (brittle and smashed). Also changed fuel filter. All vacuum hoses are ok. Now the car runs like a champ, but is even harder to start. Any ideas?

By the way, I've seen posts indicating difficulty separating an injector from the plastic holder without breaking the holder. A guy here gave me some advice. The injector can be pried from the holder while the stuff is still bolted on. It's a bit of a pain in the neck, but it's not bad and it's better than having to wait for new holders. Then the holder can be removed, cleaned, re-attached to the injector and then bolted back in place.
