Sometimes when coming to a stop, or just starting off from a stop I get these weird moaning sounds coming from the transmission. Basically from underneath the front seats. Just started doing this recently. It doesn't always happen, just some of time. There is plenty of fluid in the tranny, as the stick is always covered with oil when I check. Is this something potentially catastrophic? This is a 1988 740 turbo wagon. Thanks for any input.
