240 runs hot, vibrates with ac on 200

1984 240 gl , 135k
here are the symptoms
-car idles rougher , vibrates noticeably and surges at idle sometimes when ac turns on , if you turn ac off idles smooth doesnt vibate

-car runs rough duyring the day in flroida 90-dgrees average outisde temperature , but runs more smoothly at night , average 75 degree otuside temperature , runs rougher as soon as ac engages

-when car is stuck in stop and go traffic temp raises almost to overheating red zoen , but stays less than 3/4 when on highway or in coniunous movement

have recently flushed and replaced coolant , all hoses are in good order , recently put in new sperk plugs-when from one prong to 4 prong , put in wetting additive to coolant

does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this cooling system/ac problem?
