Idiot Light for Lamp Burnout (Cruise) 200 1987

The indicator light for a burn out bulb is always on, even though all the lamps are in good working order. Does anyone else have this problem? Could the circuit boards need changed? This never really bothered me much except I just installed cruise control and it will not work. I understand that the cruise will not work if a break light is out. I don't know if because this light is on that the cruise thinks a lamp is out and will not function. Any suggestions? I checked all the hoses and they are all good.
