sway bar bushing replacement 200

In order to replace the sway bar bushings including the link ends do I need to take the pressure off the front end by raising it or putting it on jack stands or can I do this project using ramps to get under the car? Also, any wisdom you might have gained from doing this job in the past would be appreciated
