93 240 the best? 200

Hi,

I am thinking about retiring or dontaing the beater 1983 245 and getting into a later 245.

Does the 1993 240 represent the finest and most refined of the range or just the end of the line for the series? Besides ABS, R134 AC, and an air bag is there anything that makes the 93 model superior to the rest of the early 90s 240s?
