1800 manual gearbox designations 1800

I know that Irv Gordon has a 4-speed with OD manual tranny in his '66. Did Volvo install the same gearboxes in all P1800s since the beginning in '61 to the end in '73? Also, what is the internal designation for that transmission? I know that 240/740 4-speeds with OD are the M46, 240 5-speeds are the M50, and 850 5-speeds are the M56. And Volvo never offered automatic trannies in the P1800, right?
