main fuel pump noise 900 1991

replaced main pump and in-tank pump, no problem w/ old ones but replaced anyway since they are 11 yrs and after 117k - just in case.
when standing next to car, can hear a small buzzing noise from the main pump (checked underneath the car and used a small stick to id the source, mainly from the in-let side of the main pump) at any idle speed, tested in-tank pump (use a small tube inserted inside tank and operational......... car accerates and runs normal at full to almost empty tank,
normal for the small buzzing noise???? brought from FCP OEM stuff, thanks in advance for any comments!!
