I have rebuilt my 65 1800 over the past couple years and now can't get it started. Actually, I have had it running for a minute or less several times, but now can't get it started. When it ran it sounded good, so timing is probably good.
Checked:
Good spark; fuel to the chambers;spark at the plugs; spark plugs don't even get damp after cranking for a number of times. (limited because of new engine)
Centered and set jet needles; cleaned out tubes from chambers to carbs;set butterfly.
Checked valve openings, several times; just don't seem to get gas into the pistons.
Any ideas?
Baffled?
