Whats this fitting on my new fuel pump? 200 1982

I just bought a new Bosch main fuel pump for my k-jet equipped '82. I also purchased a new check valve as well. when the pump arrived it alread had a brass fitting screwed into the pressure end. It looks like a relief valve or check valve. However, the check valve that I ordered from FCP does not match what is currently installed in the pump. Is this a check valve that came installed on the pump??? or....
