Smokin 940t - and not in a good way? 900

As many will know from my previous posts i have been having fun with this car. Cos it may halp i will (briefly) cover the main fixes:-

1. New engine oil cooler (leaking like a stuck pig!)
2. PCV system overhaul, new oil filler cap gasket (leaking like a pig)
3. Some oil appearing in turbo hoses, possibly a shade more than you would expect.
4. OD failure....strangely just cam back on its own..and stayed back

Today I installed acalibrated presure guage in the car from the manafold...mainly because I like to know what the engine/turbo is really doing.

Took the car out for a test run (and to buy some bits) and everything is fine. FYI 21" of vacumea t idle (27 under decelearation) up to 8lbs boost gunning it...

Now on my way back from the shops (note engine up to full temp, had been running for a few mins since comming out of the shops etc) I hit a dual carraige way and gunned it HARD right the way up through the box..now this road is fast and has a rise to it..so the engine is really working and I was at WOT.. when i looked in my mirror i hade a haze of smoke behind me.. not white not black sort of grey (dark grey maybe - hard to tell in the mirror), the car also seem to be running out of steam a bit - but I was doing 85 and this is uphill....

On my way home i gunned it a few more times and couldn't see any smoke..

I think i have noticed this before, but have never been quiet certain...

anyone got any thoughts.. i have plenty (turbo, o2 sensor, piston rings...all nasty) but I suddenly thought..is this just typical behavior?

thoughts would be appreciated!

BTW, the car has 135k and is a 91...runs on mobile 1 0w40 and decent petrol.

While im on is it worth redex'ing the car or not...thoughts please?
