k+n filter replace and turbo bearing inspection 700 1989

Just popping in a k+n on the 740tc and was inspecting the turbo-shaft bearing;some play but no evidence of any contact with housing and boost is 7.5psi,this is a garret unit.Is some play normal with this turbo or should zero axial be the norm?
