Should I buy this one? 700 1989

I have the opportunity to buy a 1989 760T with 121k on the odometer. It has no rust, body panels are solid and perfectly aligned. The interior is nearly flawless. The engine is clean looking and the spare tire has never been used. It is priced at $3500 (US). I have not had the chance to drive it yet but, I will tomorrow. What should I be looking for to determine whether this is a gem or a potential basket case? Thanks for your help.
