bulb out light with no bulbs out what gives?

My 92 960 has had a bulb fail light on dash since I bought it for more than a year now. I have replaced both headlight bulbs tail light bulbs and brake bulbs with ones called out in owners manual. Do I have some kind of stuck relay--if so where is it located-- bad ground or some other electrical phenomanon? This is driving me nuts all light are working so simple yet so difficult. Ready to take bulb out of dash for bulb failure-- not a fix but I am easily fooled. Thanks Steve
