I recently got an elec antenna from a junked '86 740 and put it in my '86 740
I works but it seems the the motor makes a few too many clunking turns at either end of the masts travel Up/ and Down: u..........p clunk---clunk Do..........wn clunck---clunck. Is this proper operation, or is there some way to adjust the travel so it is closer to perfect????

Thankyou all. Thanks to this forum I have saved hours of guessing and my $600 740 which is my main transpo is becoming more and more drivable every day!!!
