OK, finally replaced the leaking condenser on my 93 940 (non-turbo). Everythings back together and double checked, except when I connect the 3 pressostats at the lower PS of the condenser the radiator fan turns on. I've narrowed this down to the middle or gray pressostat. Could this thing have failed sitting on the shelf in a couple of hours? I check the resistance and its about .3 ohms, the brown one is like megaohms. I'm figuring the pressure triggers this things and .3 ohms somehow seems low. Anyone know anything. Car is cold, and radiator thermoswitch and relay are a year or two old. The pressostat only has to be connected for the fan to run, not installed on the condenser. Need ideas, thanks.
