OK.. more 240 curiosity...
THe temp gauge doesnt work... I took the dash off, and all the connections on the circuit board look good, and continuous. Is there a way to test the unit itself, or test to see if there's signal coming to the unit??
All my dash warning lights are stuck on, except the oil light. I replaced the bulb, and now the oil light still doesnt work, but the "hi-beam" light is also out. Connections look good, bulbs are new (and $5.50 each!!) any ideas....
Finally, about the inoperable tach.... No, I didnt give it power. Being the cheap guy I am, I bought the thing on Ebay, and it came with no instructions.. the back of the tach had 3 spade connectors at the bottom (one top center, two adjacent, below the top one)... It also had the wires on top for the light, but I'm sure I can figure that one out.. anyone know which wires go where on the back of this tach?? (It is the 2" tach for the side slots on the dash).
Also, as mentioned earlier, the under-hood wiring looks half-a** fixed, and I dont think the wire from the coil (or dist?) to the tach is there anymore.. what should I look for?
Thanks for all your help..
