760 driveshaft rebuild

I have an '88 760 Turbo wagon that sounds like it's in need of universals or center support or both. I've done universal joint replacement on my old non Volvo rear whell drive cars but never did a center support. Is it a normal weekend mechanics type of job or do I need some special tools to do it. ie ... is the center support pressed on ?
Any words of wisdom for a drive shaft rebuild would be appreciated.
