1990 240 Electronic Speedometer 200 1990

Please Help!!! I am at my wits end with my 240. The electronic speedo went out and I trying to repair it. I have gotten a new instrument cluster from a parts yard and replaced the sensor in the rear end. It will occasionally for about 2 seconds read some speed when first starting out. Not sure if it is even accurate. All my wires have checked out with no breaks and the speedo head is getting power with the key turned on. I have been unable to locate any wiring diagrams online that might further help me find the problem. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thank You
