1990 740 GL alternator swap 700

I'm having charging system problems. I need a voltage regulator but it will be days quicker to use an alt from a good parts yard here (UT). The donor car is a turbo with a 100 amp unit. I believe my non-turbo has an 80 amp alt. Will there be a problem with this swap, any complications or just a normal r/r.
