No spark - running out of things to check 200 1986

Chrysler/MPG ignition. Intermittent problem withn no spark. Voltage present at coil and hall switch connector (12v at terminal A and 5v at terminal B). Fuel pump runs briefly after jumping B &C terminals on connector. Rotor turns when cranking engine. Replaced control unit with one bought from wrecking yard. Did not work. Put old one back in and slammed hood down. Engine started up, drove 6 more months with no problem. Then again no spark. Got it going once by wiggling some wires near wiper motor. Got it going 3 more times by wiggling the 25 amp fuse near the battery Each time it ran for a few miles. Replaced 25 amp fuse and holder. Cleaned various connectors. Coil resistance tests 1.3 to 1.4 ohms between terminals 1 and 15, 11,860 to 11,920 ohms between terminal 1 and the center tower. Do I need to replace the coil? Is it possible that the control unit is bad and the used one from the wrecking yard as well? If so, why would wiggling the fuse have fixed the problem several times? Is there a way to test the control unit? Could it be the hall switch? If so how do I isolate it as the problem? Sorry for the long post but I have tried everything I can think of or read about.
