stock radio w/ amp - rear speakers both suddenly dead 200

Volvo 240 DL '89 B230F 200K kms.

I have the stock radio (CR-712 I think) with the amp under the passenger side dash. All speakers are stock.
Everything worked perfectly until I suddenly lost both rear speakers simultaneously. There is absolutely nothing out of the rear when I fade to the back.

Can't be the speakers since the both died at the same time. This was never intermittent.

I beilieve that the amp only drives the rears, and the front ones are powered to the radio. I therre a fuse on the amp somwhere? I am thinking maybe the amp just doesn't power up. That would fit the scenario.

Any ideas?
