Oil Filter Removal Advice 940 900

Well I tried to loosen the filter for an oil change only to find that I must have overtightened the dam thing on my last change. Seems like it's welded to the block! I tried one of those over the filter "cap" type filter wrenches. It did not work. Tried a pipe wrench, no luck.......not much room to loosen the filter with.

Any suggestions?
