Ambient Temp Gauge Parts? S90-V90 1997

I just received the ambient temperature gauge kit for my V90. Surprisingly it has no wiring included, just the dash gauge with connector and a plastic piece which I presume is the temp sensor. This implies either one of two things: that it's prewired, or my parts friend didn't order everything. I will check today, but does anyone know for sure?

If it is prewired, where do I pick up the existing wiring for the sensor. I'm hoping that the connection to the dash guage will be somewhat obvious...
