86-93 U.S 240 Clear Turn Signal Lenses 200 1986

Hi All,
I just bought a pair of clear turn signal lenses (240: 86-93 fittment) from Trollhattan on Ebay. I wanted to know what the orange insert is in the clear lens. I can't tell if there's a square empty slot in the side of the lens, or if it's the colour of the globe shining through.....I'll probably find out when i recieve them in the mail. (btw: i'm in australia, we have euro style lenses here, hence the query)
