disconnecting ignition coil for compression testing? 700 1990

so i borrowed my cousin's compression test gauge, he says it's a good one. apparently it's from sears, so i guess that'll do just fine. :-) in any case, this feels like a dumb question, but how do i disconnect the ignition coil?

or rather, where IS the ignition coil?

yes, i am still in need of a good service manual, i STILL (after all these years) haven't gotten around to getting one...mostly because the advice given here so far has removed my need for one. ;)
