My former teenage volvo killer just had the rear window replaced on her '87...and started popping fuses whenever the defroster was on........after some head scratching...i found that the resistance of the heater grid (new) was about.75 ohms......checked my '88 it was about 1.4 ohms.....going to the formula ....with hers reading .75 ohms, at 13.8 (about) volts...equals a bunch of current.....more than is good for the 16A fuse......since i've only been able to check mine for a reference.....is 1.4 ohms about what the resistance should be for the grid..??????....anyone ever checked/messed with this.???
TIA...........j.
