Just about every time I punch the accelerator (but only when I really punch it), for instance when i am trying to pull out into traffic quickly, fuse #12 blows. The car stops running. I don't drive in traffic anymore, just slowly along back roads, 6 miles to work and back.

I recently had a/c work done - a rebuilt compressor my mechanic happened to have from a recent wreck. A/C works great.

Another symptom -- warm air comes through the vents regardless of the slider setting.

Items listed as running through fuse 12:
backup lamps,
a/c,
(relay power windows - don't have them)
(el. heated seats - don't have them)
(pressure gauge turbo - don't have turbo)
cu heater fan. - Don't know what this is. Te cu heater fan is in parenthesis, meaning it is an option, right?

Since fuse 3 is shown to run the heater fan, I don't know what the cu heater fan might be.
