740 fog light problems 700 1990

For a few years my fog lights worked only intermittently. Sometimes one comes on, sometimes both. I went without these for a few years since my teenagers kept breaking them. I recently installed a new pair and they don't work at all. The rocker switch lights up when it is turned on but the lights don't light up. I made sure the lowbeams were on when I tested them.
