On Friday my 245 died. Just up and died on the side of the road. Had my 8 month old daughter with me so there wasn't much besides very basic trouble shooting I could do. Good thing is that it died right across the street from a shop. Called them and they said that it jumped timing. Do I remember right that this is a non-interference engine (b21) and all they will need to do is replace the timing belt? Or could I have bent the valves?
The really annoying thing is that I have a brand new timing belt in the garage and I was going to put it on either this weekend or next. Now I have to pay.
